Prayer for New Service

To help establish the new service, prayer meetings will be held each Sunday at 5.30pm, commencing 17th January 2010.

These meetings will be half hour in duration and give opportunity for those who intend to regularly attend the new service to begin to form relationships centred on God's purpose.

Prayer points already identified include:

Being a church and community that lifts up the lowly.

Faithful bible teaching.

Unity amonst the whole community of St. Michael's regarding the decision to start the new service.

A challenge to members of both services to discover new gifts and fan in to flame existing ones.

A shared vision for the service amongst participants.

An openess of mind amongst participants.

Protection for the health of St. Michael's existing minstries.

God leading the right people to the service.

Particpants being 'present' when they meet together.

Wisdom to know how children might be included in the service.

Wisdom in considering how the new service will affect the Indonesian congregation currently meeting at St. Michael's.
