Please note that due to the coronavirus outbreak, St Michael’s will no longer hold any activities on-site. This includes Sunday services and weekly activities.
During this time of change, we are keen to keep in touch and support families in our community however we can. You’ll find a more specific news for pre-school aged children and their families on our playgroup page.
If you are, or would like to be, part of our play group, that is currently finding creative ways to stay in touch online rather than in person, please contact Catherine Ward (email@example.com).
Please see Catherine M’s update below:
Hello playgroup families,
I hope this finds you all well. We haven’t heard of anyone who is unwell either at playgroup or within the church congregation but we are considering all aspects of life together at St Michael’s given the outbreak of COVID-19 and the World Health Organisation’s guidelines.
I have decided to close playgroup in its present form till further notice is given by government about eased restrictions. This is not good news for us because we love to see you and I know that many of you rely on the weekly get together for your children and yourselves. But if one of us inadvertently infects others at playgroup, it could be serious for those with a poor immune system, older carers or anyone who is tired and run down. Most of us come into that latter category!! If we can stop the virus spreading now, there will be fewer effects over the next few months.
However, we are keen to stay in touch, however that may be done safely. Please check your email for regular updates.
Please get in touch if you are not receiving our emails or have questions – firstname.lastname@example.org.
