The tour is run by Indigenous Ministries Australia and was led by Nick Wright and Wayne a member of the Indigenous Christian Fellowship at Footscray. The tour is designed to be part history, part prayer walk and part cross cultural learning experience.
We reflected and prayed at the the Batman Treaty site, Walker St., Westgarth where the first treaty between aboriginal people and colonists was signed on 6th June 1835 and later annulled by the NSW Governor, Richard Bourke in the same year.
