Proclaiming Christ Today
The days of people turning over their life to Jesus at a rally or responding in faith to the words of a street preacher seem long gone in 21st Century Melbourne.
Why might that be? And what form does proclamation take in our pluralist, post-Christian, post-truth, hyper-individual, small-screen environment?
Proclaiming Christ is the first and major pillar of our mission as a church – how shall we be faithful to that commission, and yet sensitive, authentic and effective as we do so?
