Submit a Prayer

Why prayer?

All the world over, people at one time or another feel the need to pray to God for help, for comfort, for healing, for guidance, and more. But where can you go to pray? The Christian faith affirms that people can pray anywhere, at any time. The Holy Bible encourages people to pray for each other (Ephesians 6:18). So feel free to submit a prayer and the prayer will be offered to God for you or whoever it is you are wanting prayer for.

Don’t forget that you can pray too! The Bible records Jesus words about this in The Gospel of Matthew (6:6-13), saying to people:
‘6 Here’s what I want you to do: Find a quiet, secluded place so you won’t be tempted to role-play before God. Just be there as simply and honestly as you can manage. The focus will shift from you to God, and you will begin to sense his grace….12-13 This is your (Heavenly) Father you are dealing with, and (God) knows better than you what you need. With a God like this loving you, you can pray very simply.’

A member of staff at St Michael’s Anglican Church will have your prayer request emailed to them and will offer the to God on your behalf. Your prayer request will not be shared publicly and will be deleted after it has been offered to God on your behalf.
