How to Raise Emotionally Intelligent Children

A Parenting Program

Facilitated by Hannah Craven

A six week parenting program for parents and carers of children aged 2-12.

Tuning In To Kids is a six-week emotion based parenting program, developed by The University of Melbourne. The course focuses on how to identify, communicate and teach children about feelings. In particular, practical strategies for managing anger and anxiety will also be provided. Children who are able to identify and regulate their emotions have been shown to do better academically and socially. There is also evidence that these skills can help children to develop into resilient adolescents and adults.
