January 26th is a difficult time. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are feeling many emotions and are hurting, grieving, mourning, and commemorating survival, on this day. That’s why forming community as sisters and brothers is so important. Please be praying for a deep change of heart in our nation.
In the lead up to Australia Day, Common Grace is hosting a prayer and lament service for Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islanders. Our nearest service will be on Wednesday January 22 at 7pm at St Paul’s Cathedral in the city.
