Sermon Series for Boxing Day 2021 and into the New Year – When we exchange presents at Christmas sometimes there’s that awkward moment when our gift seems small and insignificant compared to the one received. We may be embarrassed, even reticent to participate in such a gift exchange. When it comes to God’s gifts to His children (1 John 3:1), you and I, our gifts to God unequal in proportion by comparison indeed. But to our surprise, God welcomes our ills, our ailments, our inadequacies as “gifts” we might give to God and in exchange God gives good things we need.
